CA AB 1305, bill on voluntary offsets disclosure requirements, passes assembly and moves to CA Senate

(Source:The Desert Review) Assembly Bill (AB) 1305, authored by Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel (D – Woodland Hills), would impose disclosure requirements for both buyers and sellers of voluntary offset credits in California. The disclosure requirements include: regsitry of project, project name, number, methodology and location among other details, as well as how entities claiming carbon neutrality are calculating their emissions balance.
